Description
“Bombarda” was a common type of vessel in the Eastern Mediterranean. It is a descendant of “polacca” with two masts and sails. It was a ship of 18th century with stern frame and capacity that reached the 200 tons.
This copy has a length of 60 cm, sails with crossings to the mast of the fore and “bouma” a spanker spencered sail on the mast of the stern.
